Ashwagandha, an adaptogen queen

Here is a journal excerpt after meditating with ashwagandha root.

I received a Third Eye hit. I found myself nude, laying on the earth, under the warm sun. Earth’s dirt was soft, and felt like I was laying on top of a bed of ashwagandha powder - neutral, light, calm color. I felt sensual, beautiful body making love to the earth, a fall surrender.

My body wants full allowance to rest and have fun — to do life without worry or necessity. Tears roll down my face as I envision abundance in my life, lots of love and laughter and welcoming my inner child to feel winters magic and curiosity.

Ashwagandha root is an adaptogen herb. Like all adaptogen herbs and mushrooms, this class of herbs help the body resist and adapt to various types of stress - physical, chemical, and biological. You may have heard of some of these other ones such as Cordyceps, Eleuthero, Ginseng, Holy Basil, Licorice, Rhodiola, and Schisandra.
